Sip Rooftop in Greenville

Service was absolutely horrible. Asked 2 bartenders, 2 servers and the manager for service and still haven’t gotten it. Everyone around us was served but we weren’t. When I asked the manager for a server he barely acknowledged me.. leadership starts from the top and clearly there isn’t any here.

This is a very nice bar. The drink specials are great and they have a great selection of wines. They have big jenga and a beautiful outside bar area. I went in the winter time but I cannot wait to go hang out in that outdoor area when its summer time.

Awesome dj!!! Very nice atmosphere. Not giving 5 stars because the drinks are very expensive. But cool and comfy place to hangout.

SIP Whiskey & Wine Bar, located in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina, is the happening place in Downtown. The rooftop atmosphere, live music, and ample seating make this place a favorite. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable on the adult beverages. Give them a try the next time you need a night out on the town!

Great rooftop bar, with coctails, beer and wine. The infused liquors are great as well. Good spot for a great view of downtown at night.

Good location downtown in the heart of everything. Also great views from the patio area. The staff is also very attentive.

If you want whiskey, avoid. You see the menu? WHISKEY & WINE it says. It says WHISKRY first. Let me tell you a story. First, didn't bring a bourbon list out to the table. Second, bourbon list didn't have pricing. Third, server nor bartender knew what Bottled in Bond meant, as I asked if the Old Forester was Bottled in Bond. Okay, fine, that's not an everyday question. Next up, asked for a Basil Hayden's, which I repeated 3 times because the server had no clue what that bourbon was either. A little perplexed after repeating myself three times, the server left before I could tell her that I prefer my bourbon Neat. Of course, the bourbon came out in a glass filled to the rim with ice cubes. I was profoundly said. 2-stars instead of 1 due to the big outdoor patio. Y'all, train your workers or remove Whiskey as the main subtitle on your menu.

One of my favorite spots to hang with friends, especially when the weather is nice and the Sunday drink specials are great.

Cool place to chill in a rooftop and have some drinks. Outdoor seating and stone board games and minigames. Seems like no kitchen, charcuterie type appetizers.

Great atmosphere, good selection of mixed drinks and wine, water is available all night long. Attended Synergy Twins concert. Great draw. One of the best summer nights in Greenville of 2019.

Cool place. Great vibe. Needs a place to smoke and/or vape tho. IMO

This is the perfect place to come sit on the patio and have a drink + light plate to eat.The White Sangria + Drink box are unbeatable😋

Came in for the sip,snack & cinema night . The staff was very friendly and attentive . Will be back.

This is a rooftop bar overlooking main Street. The staff was very polite and quick with service. The management team is very thoughtful. The night we attended, the temperature dropped quickly and they had blankets and heaters ready for use. The selection of wines and whiskey is robust. Just a small note. Many of the finer wines can only be purchased by the bottle. However their is a large variety of mid level wines available by the glass. Overall, I am going to visit this spot again on my next trip to Greenville.

Came in on Thursday after work, group of 3 and Taylor made us feel like we were the only table. She kept our drinks full and kept us entertained! Absolutely great experience because of great services!Recommend to anyone!

Great atmosphere, friendly employees, good music

This place is okay and has a nice rooftop experience but the customer service is not so good. Our waitress keep forgetting to bring our food out and water. We had to keep reminding her about it.

Good vibes. Huge wine list. Decent bourbon list. Food limited (but this is a bar folks). Drop in here after dinner for drinks. Roodtop outdoor area has an enclosure and heaters during the chilly season.Very comfortable furniture. Great service. Not too loud for conversations. We will be back!

The New Years Eve party was EVERYTHING!!! There was no long line and plenty of seating. They advertised heavy appetizers and they delivered! Everything was fresh and there were plenty of options. There was a live band and the singer was exceptional. The DJ was FIRE and kept the party moving throughout the night. I definitely recommend this party and I will be back. The servers and security were phenomenal!!!!

I'm in search of a whiskey bar. After some research online I decided to check out sip. When the elevator doors opened I was impressed. The vibe was just what I had hoped for. The bar was well stocked with a wide variety of spirits including a large selection of wine. Everyone I met was friendly and attentive. I was fortunate enough to meet the general manager Mark, I could tell he is passionate about what he does. My search may be over. CR

Normally a great spot but while visiting last night there as zero attention paid to social distancing and failed to mention any mask requirements/recommendation. Wait staff themselves appeared in part to be wearing masks. Crowded bar, crowded patio due to a DJ playing. No system for safely getting in and out of the bar via elevator. Will not go back and would recommend avoiding this bar while they so irresponsibly address (or in some instances completely ignore) social norms during the current pandemic.

Always good service and a great selection of wine. I wish they had more gluten friendly optioms, I never eat here.

The place is beautiful. Very unique and romantic. Service was a tad slow and impersonal, but a very cute place to grab a drink with the girls.

Went for some evening drinks with some of my employees. Bartenders told us to sit wherever. Wasn’t served at all after asking both the servers/hostess. When I asked the manager he was very rude, and still received no service. Place was not busy at all. All in all I would give this place a 0. I would not recommend it to anyone. The owner should seriously think about updating the staff. Great location, terrible service.

Went upstairs to see what this was about. Great little bar and outdoor area looking over Main. He had a whiskey flight and I opted for a beer. All good and decent prices. Staff friendly. Bathrooms clean. Outdoor area was floored with soft spongy covering so if you face plant it won't hurt as bad. :) We would return here in a heartbeat. Loved it. Great view!

Social Distancing and masks were not enforced at all. There was a DJ that caused large crowds to gather and dance. The indoor bar area was crowded with people. The elevator had crowds of people packing in for rides to the ground floor. Luckily there was a seated area outside available away from the crowds. Most waitresses were wearing a mask except for 1, who had the mask below her chin the entire time. Great place, but not recommended during a global pandemic.
